The manufacturing process of FDY Yarn or Fully Drawn Yarn is a lot similar to Polyester POY. The only difference is that the production of FDY is conducted at a higher speed. During the process, all the critical aspects such as tenacity, elongation, Uster variation and boiling water shrinkage are monitored.
