The manufacturing of air-covered yarns is an efficient production process and our manufacturing partners strive to make it all the more cost effective. In this process, the elastane component intermingles with a filament yarn using compressed air and it is wound straight onto the yarn spool. Air-covered yarns with their powdery look and exceptional softness are best used for socks and seamless articles.
