Description
- Cool To Touch –Graphene conducts heat very efficiently, giving the fabric a Qmax Cool rating of 0.15 w/cm2 (Dry) and 0.3 w/cm2(Wet). Efficient heat transfer enables the fabric to be cooler, when it is dry or wet.
- Anti-Odor – Sweat gives rise to bacteria , which can grow very fast on textile materials , which can grow very fast on textile materials leading to development of bad odor in garments. The thin sharp edges of Graphene tear down the micro-organisms and kill them on contact. Hence the Antimicrobial properties of Graphene, does not allow the bad smell producing bacteria to stay on the fabric and keeps a fresh feeling.
- Anti- Viral –Graphene acts like a sword, and kills most virus, bacterial and fungus. This has been certified with an Antiviral rating of > 99.99% as per AATCC100 modified test. As people are moving out, for their physical wellbeing, fabrics with Antiviral properties are quite effective.
- Moisture Management –The Hexagonal shape of graphene and very high surface area provides good Moisture Wicking capability which is important to move sweat away from the body.
- Thermal Insulation –Graphene treated fabrics has shown around 15 – 20% higher thermal insulations compared to Regular fabric ( Tog & Clo – test method ISO 11092-2014.)
- UPF Sun Protection:High surface area of Graphene leads to protection from the harmful UltraViolet Rays (UPF) which has become extremely important . With a high UPF protection, the fabric is well suited for Outdoor applications.
- Anti-Static :Graphene is the excellent electric conductors hence the Graphene activated fabrics exhibit good anti-static properties
- Anti-Mosquito :Graphene enhanced fabrics are observed to have partial mosquito repellency
