The bamboo fiber is a regenerated cellulosic fiber made from bamboo plants. The starchy pulp is extracted from the bamboo stems and leaves through a process of alkaline hydrolysis and multi-phase bleaching. Additional chemical processes are also used to further refine the bamboo fiber.
